Your Micro-Trak flowmeter has been tested at the factory and
assigned a “FLOW CAL” value to make it operate properly
with the MT-2400 console. This number is stamped on the
metal tag attached to the flowmeter.
See Illustration 38.
This
is a starting point only. The value must be fine tuned.
See
FineTuning Flowmeter Calibration on page 34.
1. Turn all boom switches OFF.
2. Press and hold the “CAL” key for three seconds to enter
the calibration mode. Turn the dial to “FLOW CAL”
position. The display will alternate between flowmeter
calibration (FLOW CAL) and total flow values at about
three-second intervals. (When the word “CAL” appears,
the number displayed is the flowmeter calibration (FLOW
CAL) value. When the word “CAL” does not appear, that
is the Total Flow value.
See Illustration 37.
3. When the display shows flowmeter calibration (“CAL” is
displayed), use the “+” or “-” keys to adjust the displayed
value to the number stamped on the tag. When the
number shown on the display matches the desired value,
you have arrived at the starting calibration value. Exit
“CAL” by pressing and holding the “CAL” key for three
seconds (or continue with other calibration settings).
NOTE: If you let go of the “+” and “-” keys while you are
