Protocol
All sensors of the thermoMETER CTVideo series are using a binary protocol. Alternatively they can be
switched to an ASCII protocol. To get a fast communication the protocol has no additional overhead with CR,
LR or ACK bytes.

ASCII Protocol
To switch to the ASCII protocol please use the following command:
Decimal: 131
HEX: 0x83
Data, answer: byte 1
Result:
0 – Binary Protocol
1 – ASCII Protocol
