Below the CLEAR ALARM OUTPUTS line on the menu screen are the port identities.
Selecting a port leads to the alarm list for that port. The alarms are labelled from 0 to 9 and
A to Z in the firmware. These label numbers are standard for all Metrodata DSUs. Only those
alarms that apply to the particular interface are displayed. Initially they show their default
settings, but they can be selected by their label, and toggled to a different level with choices
MAJOR, MINOR or NONE.
