1.
Lower sawhead and lock for trans-
port.
2.
Raise upper saw table fully (up
against the blade guard) and tighten
cutting depth lock screws.
3.
Place the rip fence over the blade
guard and secure in position.
4.
Release transport lock and raise
sawhead fully.
5.
Remove the side guard.

Operation
A
Danger!
•
Before using the machine always
check to see that the following
are in proper working order:
−
retractable blade guard
−
safety lock.
•
Use personal protection gear.
•
Assume proper operating posi-
tion:
−
at the front of the saw;
−
in front of the saw;
−
to the side of the line of cut.
•
Risk of crushing! When tilting the
sawhead assembly to the side,
hold the sawhead at the handle
and keep your fingers away from
the track arm holder and out of its
tilting range! Hold at the saw-
head.
•
If the type of work requires, use
the following:
−
work support – for long stock,
which would otherwise fall off
the table on completion of the
cut;
−
dust collector.
•
U
se an auxiliary fence if small
cutoffs will result when cutting.
•
Always hold the work piece down
on the table and do not jam it.
•
Do not attempt to stop the saw
blade by pushing the work piece
against its side. Risk of injury if
the saw blade is blocked.
Standard cross cuts
Maximum work piece cross section
(dimensions in mm):
Starting position:
−
Sawhead fully raised.
−
Rotating table in 0
°
position, the lock
screw of the rotating table is tight-
ened.
−
Motorhead in vertical (90
°
) position,
bevel tilt locking lever tightened.
Cutting the work piece:
1.
Hold work piece against the fence.
2.
Press on the upper half of the ON/
OFF switch button and press the
safety lock.
3.
Slowly swing the sawhead fully
down, holding the handle firmly.
When sawing exert only moderate
pressure to keep the motor speed
from dropping.
4.
Cut the work piece in a single pass.
5.
Let the sawhead return slowly to its
upper starting position.
6.
If no further cutting is do be done
immerdiately afterwards, turn the
saw OFF (press on the lower half of
the switch button).
Mitre cuts
A mitre cut cuts the workpiece at an
angle to the fence.
Maximum work piece cross section
(dimensions in mm):
Starting position:
−
Sawhead fully raised.
−
Motorhead in vertical (90
°
) position,
bevel tilt locking lever tightened.
Cutting the work piece:
1.
Loosen the lock screw
.
2.
Set to desired angle.

Note:
The rotating table engages at
preset stops at the 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30°,
45°, and 60° position.

Tighten the rotating table's lock
screw.
4.
Hold work piece against the fence.
5.
Press on the upper half of the ON/
OFF switch button and press the
safety lock.
6.
Slowly swing the sawhead fully
down, holding the handle firmly.
