3. Repeat the previous steps on the other side of the yoke.
Round Bushing Removal
NOTE:
Use only the specifi ed tools to remove the round bushings.
Do not use the SPX Kent-Moore yoke bearing cup installation tool
(number J-44516) to remove the round bushings. Damage to the
tool can result.
Use one of the following procedures to remove and install round
bushings.
• Press, bridge tool and bearing cup bushing receiver
• Universal joint press
• Universal joint puller
DANGER
Observe all warnings and cautions provided by the press
manufacturer to avoid damage to components and serious
personal injury.
Method Using a Press, Bridge Tool and Bearing Cup
Bushing Receiver
1. Use a press, bridge tool and bearing cup bushing receiver.

2. Press DOWN until the fi rst round bushing loosens.
