6. Install the O‑rings onto the air compressor end cap. Lubricate the O‑rings with 2‑cycle Premium Outboard Oil.

7. Install the end cap onto the air compressor. Ensure the crank journal is engaged with the connecting rod by turning the drive

sheave. The piston should move in the cylinder bore.

8. Ensure the arrow on the end cap points towards the cylinder head.
9. Apply Loctite 271 to the threads of the M6 x 20 end cap screws. Install the screws and tighten the screws to the specified

torque.
