Inspection and Maintenance Schedule
Prior to Every Use
•
Check that lanyard stop switch stops the engine.
•
Visually inspect the fuel system for deterioration or leaks.
•
Check the engine compartment and use your nose to detect any fuel fumes.
•
Check the throttle, shift, and steering system for binding or loose components.
After Each Saltwater or Polluted Water Use
•
Flush all internal passages with fresh water.
•
Wash the jet pump exterior with fresh water.
Every 10 Hours or Once A Month, Whichever Occurs First
•
Check bilge siphon system. See

•
Inspect cable bellows for wear, rub marks, or leaks.
•
Inspect battery and connections. See

•
Check tightness of bolts, nuts, and other fasteners.
•
Check exhaust hoses for holes or distortion due to overheating.

Check level and condition of drive housing and stator lubricant. See

Check the corrosion control anodes. Replace if over 50% corroded. See
