1. Turn all engine key switches to their "RUN" position. The first screen is the
"WELCOME" screen.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT rush VesselView by pressing buttons while the system is booting
up and acquiring vessel and engine data. When VesselView is initially started or after a
factory reset, the system will take a few seconds to complete its boot‑up process and
acquisition of the vessel and engine data. If you do not see the "IMPORT CONFIG" screen
as your next (second) screen, press the left arrow on the arrow trackpad until it appears.

2. Press the right arrow on the arrow trackpad to continue to "IMPORT CONFIG".
Import Configuration (optional)
The import configuration option is used to import configuration settings that were saved to
a USB memory stick.
IMPORTANT: The VesselView unit will recognize USB memory sticks of version 1.1 or a
USB memory stick of version 2.0 that is stated to be backwards compatible to version 1.1.
The VesselView unit will not recognize memory sticks that are only version 2.0 compatible.
IMPORTANT: Configuration settings saved to a USB memory stick are compiled into one
data file. Only one file can exist in the root of the USB memory stick. VesselView will not
recognize multiple import files.
1. The "IMPORT CONFIG" screen instructs you to insert a USB memory stick and wait
for instructions.
