CALIBRATION OR ADJUSTMENT
The tab position sensor changes voltage (current actual %) as the tab is raised or lowered.
Changing the actual % value calibrates the tab level indicator to the tab position sensor.
To compensate for sensitivity of the tab position sensor, select the positions (100 = Down,
50 = Level, and 0 = Up) and adjust the actual % value to match the current actual % for
that known tab position.
NOTE: The "TABS" screen shows up to two tabs for a starboard and port setup or just a
center tab for a single tab setup. The "TABS" screen shown is for a two tab configuration.
1. Press the check button to enter tab setup.
32866
2. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad to identify how many tabs are installed
on the vessel.
NOTE: The "TABS" screen will add fields to the screen depending on the quantity of tabs
selected. If one tab is identified then a "CENTER" field will appear. If two tabs are identified
then a "STBD TAB" field and a "PORT TAB" field will appear.
NOTE: If you change the number of tabs the "Trim/Tab Popup" will be modified accordingly.
3. Press the down arrow on the arrow trackpad to select the next field.
4. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad until the proper wire connection to
the engine is shown.
5. If there are multiple tabs, press the down arrow on the arrow trackpad to proceed to
the next field.
6. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad until the proper wire connection to
the engine is shown.
7. Confirm your selections by pressing the check button.
8. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad to select the tab to be calibrated.
