QR code for rescue card
QR codes are attached in the fuel filler flap and on
the opposite side on the B-pillar. In the event of
an accident, rescue services can use the QR code
to quickly find the appropriate rescue card for
your vehicle. The current rescue card contains the
most important information about your vehicle
(e.g. the routing of the electric lines) in compact
form.

Electronic control units
Electronic control units are installed in your vehi-
cle. Control units process data which, for exam-
ple, they receive from vehicle sensors, generate
themselves or exchange between themselves.
Some control units are required for the safe oper-
ation of your vehicle, some assist you when driv-
ing, such as driver assistance systems, while oth-
ers enable convenience or infotainment functions.
The following provides you with general informa-
