Information on collision detection on a parked
vehicle
If a collision is detected on the locked vehicle
when towing protection is switched on and colli-
sion detection is switched on, you will receive a
message in the multimedia system when the vehi-
cle is switched on.
You will receive information about the following
points:

The area of the vehicle that may have been
damaged.
R
The force of the impact.
The following situation can lead to inadvertent
activation:

The parked vehicle is moved, forexample, in a
two-storey garage.

Deactivate the tow-away alarm in order to
prevent inadvertent activation. If you deacti-
vate the tow-away alarm, collision detection
will also be deactivated.
You can permanently deactivate collision
detection via the multimedia system
