Rear wing
Adjusting the stationary rear wing
Requirements:
R
There is a socket wrench available for the
rear wing's bolts.
R
There is a releasable, medium-strength bolt
lock to hand.
The rear wing improves the rear axle output and,
therefore, the vehicle's driving stability. You can
move the rear wing into an inclined and a flat
position.
When you move the rear wing into the inclined
position, the rear axle output and the air resist‐
ance increase.
#
Unscrew the bolts
1
with a socket wrench.
#
Tilt the rear wing as far as it will go, upwards
into an inclined position, or downwards into a
flat position.
#
Equip the bolts
1
with a releasable,
medium-strength bolt lock and tighten them.
Specified tightening torque: 10 Nm.
Active aerodynamics profile
Function of the active aerodynamics profile
The active aerodynamics profile is located on the
underbody of the front section and, together
with the stationary rear spoiler, optimizes the
vehicle's aerodynamics.
Depending on the drive program selected and
the driving speed, the active aerodynamics pro‐
file will automatically extend or retract.
You can also extend and retract the active aero‐
dynamics profile manually for cleaning
(

WARNING Risk of becoming trapped
when you manually retract the active aer‐
odynamics profile
Parts of the body could become trapped.
#
Ensure that there is no one in the
sweep of the active aerodynamics pro‐
file when you retract the active aerody‐
namics profile.
#
If someone does become trapped when
you retract it, press the display switch
again immediately.
