Vehicles with a rain sensor*:
In dry weather conditions, switch the wind-
screen wipers off. Otherwise, dirt or optical ef-
fects may cause undesired windscreen wiper
sweeps. This could then damage the wind-
screen wiper blades and scratch the wind-
screen.

Make sure that the key is in position 1
in the ignition lock.

To switch on/off: turn the combina-
tion switch in the direction of arrow
1
to a position appropriate to how heavy
the rain is.

When the windscreen wiper is switched on
and you stop the vehicle, the windscreen wiper
wipes more slowly.
Single wipe

Make sure that the key is in position 1
in the ignition lock.

To switch on: briefly press the combi-
nation switch in the direction of arrow

to the point of resistance.
