7.1.2 Description
Brief technical description
The CDP water bath cooling unit enables the water in Memmert water baths to be
cooled to temperatures below room temperature. Water is pumped out of the water
bath, cooled by a Peltier module and then returned to the water bath.
The cooling power is constant and cannot be regulated. The temperature control of the
water is taken over by the water bath; its controller automatically takes into account the
cooling power of the cooling unit.
The cooling unit's low-temperature fuse automaticaly switches off the appliance at a
water temperature of approx. 3 ºC.
