5.3 Putting into operation
5.3.1 Putting into operation for the first time
NOTICE
When putting into operation the accessories for the first time, please do not leave them unattended until they have reached a steady
state.
5.3.2 Connect the appliance to the power supply
Place the power cable so that
■ it does not represent a trip hazard
■ it cannot come into contact with any hot parts
■ it is easily accessible at all times and can be pulled off quickly, for example in case of
interference or an emergency
5.3.3 Filling the water bath
WARNING
If the water bath level is too high, the water may spill over during the operation of
the shaker. This can cause burns. Adjust the level of the water bath to the feed of the
shaker and the shaking frequency.
Please note that the maximum filling level of the water bath is reduced by the attach -
ment of the shaking device and the chamber load
The water bath must be filled so that the liquid level does not exceed the maximum fill -
ing level, including the shaking device. This is marked by the edge on the water bathtub.
