Filling gaps around the wall box with insulating material

Fill all gaps between the wall box and
frame construction fully with insu-
lating material (item 1 in Fig. 53) or
using another suitable filling material.
Be careful not to block the extract air
and supply air openings at the top of
the wall box.
9.8
Connecting the wall box to the vapour barrier
The inner OSB board (item 1 in Fig. 54) is the vapour barrier and airtight layer.
The OSB board must be connected to the wall box using a suitable and approved adhe-
sive tape, e.g. Rissan® from SIGA.
Other wall structures may require different procedures.
