the test voltage in the shortest possible time. If the stabilizer is
out the AC "ON" or HV "ON" circuit breakers will trip or
they can be operated manually. If the stabilizer is "IN" it is
necessary to open either the HV "ON" or the AC "ON"
switches manually to permanently de-energize the test. This
procedure should be followed only when absolutely necessary
since there is a risk of damage to both the Test Set and the
apparatus being tested.
