Cutting an unpillowed log
• Saw down halfway, then roll the log over and cut from the opposite side (Figure 4)
Cutting a pillowed log
• Saw up from the bottom third and finish by sawing down from the top (Figure 5)
• Saw down from the top third and finish by sawing up from the bottom (Figure 6)
LIMBING
WARNING
• Do not use an unstable foothold or a stepladder
• Do not overreach
• Do not cut above shoulder height
• Always use both hands to grip the saw
