Stop the product and disconnect the power cord if the
product vibrates abnormally.
●
Examine the product before use. Make sure that all
screws are tight, that all safety devices are correct
installed and that moving parts do not jam.
●
Do not use a damaged product.
●
Do not use the product with damaged or missing safety
devices.
●
Do not use a product with faulty or missing handles.
●
Carefully inspect the area where the product is to be
used and remove objects that can get stuck and be
thrown out by the product. Ejected objects can cause
serious personal injury and/or material damage.
●
Make sure that the chain does not touch the ground or an
object when you start the product.
●
Stop the product and make sure that all moving parts
have stopped before you put the product down.
●
Hold the product firmly with 2 hands and point the bar
away from the body. Hold the rear handle in your right
hand and the front handle in your left hand, even if you
are left-handed.
●
Hold the product by the insulated handles when you
operate in areas with concealed cables.
●
Keep other persons, especially children and pets, at least
75 m away from the work area.
●
Only operate the product in daylight.
●
Always use personal protective equipment.
●
Stand at minimum 10 m from power lines.
●
Do not use the product from a ladder, tree or other
unstable place. This could cause you to lose your balance
or lose control of the product.
●
Be careful when you move rearward rear. Do not slip or
fall.
●
Branches under tension can spring away when they are
cut and cause personal injury and/or cause you to lose
control of the product.
●
Be careful when you saw bushes. The thin stems can get
stuck in the chain and hit you or cause you to lose your
balance.
●
Remove branches and logs from the work area to reduce
the risk of personal injury.
●
Do not run with the product. Make sure to stay at a safe
distance when a cut branch starts to fall.
●
Stop the product and pull out the plug before you move
it. Carry the product with the front handle and with the
bar pointing away from your body. The supplied blade
guard must always be fitted during transport and storage,
to protect the bar and avoid the risk of personal injury.
●
Keep the handles clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
Greasy handles make it difficult to hold the product - risk
of personal injury and/or material damage.
●
Only use the product to saw wood. Use the product only
for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to saw plastic,
bricks or building materials not made of wood. Incorrect
use can result in a risk of serious personal injury.
2.10 Personal protective equipment
Warning!
If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.

Always use ear protection. Long use without ear
protection can result in risk of hearing impairment.
●
Always wear safety glasses.
●
Always wear heavy-duty shoes, safety gloves and long
trousers.
2.11 Safety devices
2.11.1 Kickback guard/Chain brake
Warning!
If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
The product has a chain brake that triggers if the chain
breaks and stops the chain if a kickback occurs.
The chain brake is applied automatically when the kickback
handle comes into contact with the left hand of the user.

Always hold the product firmly with 2 hands according to
the instructions.
2.11.2 Hand guard
The hand guard protects the hand from branches and from
the chain if it comes off or if it becomes loose.
2.11.3 Strain reliever
The strain reliever protects the power cord from strain.
