7.4. Dimming the display brightness
Press the
DIMMER
button on the remote control one or more times to dim the dis-
play brightness in increments.
7.5. Adjust the antenna
Pull out the telescopic aerial on the back of the device completely.
The aerial should be fully extended to ensure good signal reception and
sound quality.
8. Sound
8.1. Volume
To adjust the volume, use the
VOL-
and
VOL+
buttons on the remote control
or the controller on the device.
8.2. Equaliser
Press the
EQ
button on the remote control
to call up the various sound presets
NORMAL
,
FLAT
,
JAZZ
,
ROCK
,
MOVIE
,
CLASSIC
,
POP
,
NEWS
or
MY EQ
.
The selected setting is then shown on the display. If
NORMAL
is selected, the
equaliser is switched off and the sound is played back unchanged.
8.3. Sleep
function
If you select the sleep timer function, the device switches off automatically after a
defined period of time.
When the device is switched on, press the
SLEEP
button on the remote control
repeatedly to set the required time: 15 minutes > 30 minutes >
45 minutes > 60 minutes.
A crescent moon is shown on the display with the selected time to indicate that
the sleep timer has been set.
To switch off the sleep timer, press
SLEEP
until
SLEEP OFF
appears on the dis-
play.
