4.1. Operating
safety
• This device is not intended for use by people (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or
by those without experience and/or knowledge, unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or
they have been instructed in its use by that person. Children
should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this de-
vice.
DANGER!
Risk of suffocation!
Packaging film can be swallowed or used improperly.
Therefore, there is a risk of suffocation!
Keep packaging material such as plastic film or
plastic bags away from children.
4.2. Installation location
• Keep your device and all connected devices away from mois-
ture and avoid dust, heat, direct sunlight or naked flames
(candles or similar). Non-compliance with these instructions
can lead to faults or damage to the monitor.
• Do not use the device outdoors because external elements
such as rain, snow, etc. could damage it.
• Avoid exposing the device and the mains adapter to water
droplets or spray and do not place any liquid-filled containers
(vases or similar) on or next to the device or the mains adapt-
er. Liquids penetrating the device may impair the electrical
safety of the product.
• The slots and openings on the device are for ventilation pur-
poses. Do not cover these openings (risk of overheating, fire
hazard)!
• Position the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped
over.
