10.3.1. Setting the timer
If you want to start a timer in the operating modes
TUNER
or
DAB
, set the de-
sired radio station in advance so that the device switches on with the correct sta-
tion.
Hold down the
TIMER/CLOCK
button for 2 seconds while the device is
switched on.
Press the
buttons within 10 seconds to select
−
a daily (
DAILY
) or
−
a one-off (
ONCE
) timer
Confirm your selection by pressing
ENTER
.
Use the
or
buttons in the option
TIMER SET
and confirm with
ENTER
.
Now set which source should be used. Press the
or
buttons to select
one of the following operating modes:

CD
= CD player
−
USB
= USB port
−
TUNER
= FM radio
−
AUDIO IN
= Audio IN connection
−
DAB
= Digital radio DAB
−
LINE IN
= LINE IN connection
Then confirm with
ENTER
.
Press

to select the day. Days are displayed in the English format:

MON
= Monday

FRI
= Friday
−
TUE
= Tuesday

SAT
= Saturday

WED
= Wednesday

SUN
= Sunday.

appears on the display and the hour dis-
play flashes.
Press

to set the hour at which the device should be switched on
and confirm again with
ENTER
.
The minute display flashes. Press

to set the minutes at which the
device should be switched on and press
ENTER

OFF 00:00
appears on the display and the hour display flashes. Repeat the
last two steps and specify the hour and minutes at which the device should be
switched off. Confirm each step with
ENTER
.
TIMER VOL
appears on the display and the number for the volume level
flashes. Select the desired volume with
VOL-/+
and then confirm with
ENTER
.
Switch the device to standby mode with
ON/STAND-BY
. The LED for the tim-
er lights up.
When the set time is reached, the device switches on in the desired operating mode
and switches off again at the set time. While the timer is active,
flashes on the
display.
