13. System recovery/settings
13.1. Resetting the PC to its factory settings
In the event of problems with the installation or other software issues which make it
necessary to reinstall the software, Windows® 8 offers three options for reinstalling
Windows® 8 on your PC.
First ensure that you have backed up all important data and programs.
13.1.1. Starting system recovery*
Start the PC and press F11 during the startup process to initialise

click on the
PowerRecover
app in the start menu to start the program.
You will be offered the following options:
