5.3. Activating antivirus software*

Antivirus software is installed on your PC. When the PC is connected to the Internet,
the software is registered automatically. The free registration enables you to receive
free updates for 30 days.

Do not install additional antivirus software, as this can limit the perfor-
mance of the PC.

The operating system and antivirus software are updated automatically the first
time an Internet connection is established. These processes usually take several
minutes. During this time, the working speed of the computer may be limited but
this is only noticeable for the initial setup.
