Clutch System Related Processes
Prior to draining or filling the clutch fluid, the car must be secured on a lift with the diffuser and
transmission floor panels removed.
Clutch Fluid Drain
1.
Run the engine for 2 minutes at 2000 RPM
a.
Make sure the clutches are opened and no gears are engaged
2.
Stop the engine

Remove the fluid fill plug (item 3).
a.
Make sure the area around the fluid fill plug is cleaned with solvent before removal
b.
Use a suitable container to catch the excess fluid

Remove both fluid drain plugs (item 1, 2)
5.
Allow the fluid to drain completely, this should take approximately 5 minutes
