3.7.3 CALCULATING THE CHAIN PER TURN
Step 1
Use adhesive tape to place a mark on the chainwheel.
Step 2
Use adhesive tape to place a mark on the chain coming out of the chain wheel.
Step 3
Use adhesive tape to place a mark on the deck below the mark on the chain.
Step 4
Carefully release the chainwheel so that it can be turned by hand to feed the
chain
out.
Step 5
Using the mark on the chainwheel as a guide, turn the chainwheel one complete
turn, causing the chain to be released on to the deck.
