Connecting external devices
This section will discuss the connectors of the two form factors
(PCI and PC/104-
Plus
) of the Matrox Meteor-II /Digital board.
Matrox Meteor-II /Digital for PCI
Matrox Meteor-II /Digital for PCI has four connectors, which
are indicated in the diagram that follows. Only one of these
connectors is located on its bracket. All these connectors listed
below are discussed in detail in Appendix B.

Digital interface connector.
Used to receive digital video,
as well as send and receive synchronization signals.

Trigger input connector.
A connector for direct trigger
input in TTL or opto-isolated format.

RS-232 input connector.
Used as a standard RS-232 serial
port interface.
■
VMChannel.
Used to send data to another Matrox board.
