are speech wires and should be connected to any of the free
extension port. Please do not select power down extension else
in event of power failure DSS45 will not work.
• Take a small piece of telephone cable to connect the MDF with
the hanging wires coming out from the cable. Polarity is not
important here. Make proper joints with twisting and soldering.
To prevent shorts and sparks, secure the joints with good quality
insulation tape.
• Go to the reception area. Decide on a convenient place on the
desk for the DSS45. Keep DSS45 facing the operator.
• Connect the handset to DSS45.
If DSS45 is to be installed away from the system then all the
accessories are required. Please follow the following steps and
make connections as shown in the figure:
• Switch OFF the system. Wait for 10 seconds to allow the power
supply to discharge.
• Attach COM port end of the Splitter Cable to the system. Fix
the mounting screws to get proper connections.
