Once DSS45 is installed, it should be activated to work with
the system.
• Switch ON the system.
• DSS45 will reset with message “MATRIX DSS45”.
• At this stage, DSS45 will not accept any command since it is not
interfaced with the system software wise.
• Enter the programming mode from any other extension. Please
refer to “Programming the System” in Team/Focus/Empire
System Manual for more details.
• Program Main Operator extension using command

. Giving this command will restart the system.
• Program Secondary Operator extension using command

• Activate DSS45 by command
611-1
. Giving this command will
restart the system. LCD will display a message “OPERATOR
ABSENT”.
• Enter the programming mode (System Engineer or Admin) make
the ‘OPERATOR PRESENT’ using command
612-1.
The
LCD displays ‘OPERATOR PRESENT’. Exit from the
programming mode.
• Now DSS45 is ready for use.
