arrow. You can speak into mike provided on base unit. This can
transmit your voice in hands-free mode.
• Ringer volume control:
When you receive a call on DSS45,
buzzer the rings. You can increase or decrease volume of ringer.
This can be done when DSS45 is ringing. Press ‘up’ or ‘down’
arrow to increase or decrease ringer volume. 8-level volume
control in 8 steps is available.
• Auto Hands-free mode:
DSS45 has auto hands-free feature.
So, when you press DSS key even without lifting the handset or
without pressing the ‘spk’ key, DSS45 will take required action.
So you can call any extension line by pressing only one key.
Also you can answer any call simply by pressing the ‘ans’ key
instead of pressing first the ‘spk’ key and then ‘ans’ key.
Important Points:
• If Hands free and ringer both are active simultaneously then ‘inc’
and ‘dec’ keys will affect hands free volume and not ringer
volume.
• Handset and hands free volume values are not maintained during
power off conditions.
• Both assume their default values at Power ON.
