CLEANING PROCEDURES
Clean and disinfect the tub and transfer after every bath with
MasterCare Cleaner/Disinfectant as follows:
1.
Return transfer chair to the bath, place pads and belts
in the foot well of the bath.
2.
Close door, Open drain.
3.
Using the shower wand rinse the inside surfaces.
4.
Close the drain.
5.
Open the dispensing cabinet on the head end of the
bath
6.
Turn on the disinfectant (turn knob right) that will
dispense disinfectant through the jets. When there is
approximately one gallon of water and MasterCare
Disinfectant Cleaner in the foot well shut off dispensing
(turn knob upright).
7.
Using the long-handled brush, thoroughly scrub the
inside of the bath, transfer chair, belts and pads.
8.
Open drain
9.
Allow for proper disinfectant contact time (Usually 10
minutes or as recommended by the disinfectant's
manufacturer).
10.
Turn on the flush water (turn knob left) run water
through the disinfecting lines in the dispensing box.
Turn off (turn knob upright).
11.
Thoroughly rinse all cleaned components of the tub and
transfer chair.
CAUTION
Some cleaners, disinfectants and floor strippers contain ingredients that are corrosive or abrasive. These
solutions or compounds may contain chlorine, acid, basic ingredients or abrasives. DO NOT allow such solutions or
compounds to come in contact with your MasterCare equipment. Failure to heed this caution could result in damage to
the equipment and void the warranty.
Note: MasterCare Cleaner/Disinfectant is a special non-abrasive cleaning and disinfecting solution that will not harm the
tub's fiberglass surface. MasterCare’s
Disinfectant is a great cleaning solution designed and recommended for use with your
Bathing System
.
WARNING
For proper use and your safety, please follow the directions set forth by the manufacturer of the
disinfectant.
