OPERATION
Before operating the Entree Bath,
familiarize yourself with the key
features of the tub outlined in the
drawings supplied with these
instructions.
BATHING PROCEDURES
1.
Fill the Reservoir:
a.
Make sure the Reservoir Fill Control
Valve is in the closed position.
b.
Bring the water temperature up to
normal bath temperature by placing the
shower Spray inside the bath, turned
toward the tub side wall. Then turn on
the Shower Spray Control Valve. Run the
water until it reaches the desired
temperature;
adjust
the
water
temperature between 96° to 105° by
turning the Mixing Valve toward the hot
or cold side. Turn off the Shower Spray
Control Valve and replace the Shower
Spray.
WARNING: The temperature
of the bath water must never
exceed 110°. If you are
unable to adjust to the
normal level of 100° to 105°,
remove the individual and
report
the
problem
to
maintenance. Do not use
bath until the mixing valve is
serviced to correct the
problem. Failure to heed this
warning could result in a
scalding
injury
to
the
individual
c.
The Reservoir Fill will shut off
automatically when the reservoir is full.

BEFORE TRANSFER INTO THE TUB: FILL RESERVOIR:
•
Make sure the
Tub Fill Lever
is turned to a full closed
position.
•
Make sure the
Shower Wand
is directed into tub.
•
Turn the
Shower Spray Control Valve
on.
•
Adjust
Mixing Valve
for desired safe water temperature
(per facility policy) displayed on the bottom thermometer
labeled "Fill Temp".
•
Turn
Shower Control Spray Valve
off.
•
Turn
Reservoir Fill Control Valve
on.
•
Continue monitoring to maintain desired temperature.
Reservoir fill
will shut off automatically when full.
