12.4 Connecting/disconnecting the hand-held control

Connect the hand-held control
•
Open the cap ( 2 ) and remove the bridging
plug ( 3 ) from the socket ( 1 ).
•
Insert the plug ( 5 ) into the socket ( 1 ) and
secure it with the cap ( 2 ).
•
After approx. 20 seconds, the lamps ( 4 ) light
up – the ignition is now switched on.
If the lamp ( 4 ) does not light up or if it flashes,
there is a malfunction;

Disconnecting the hand-held control
•
Open the cap ( 2 ).
•
Remove the plug ( 5 ) from the socket ( 1 ) –
the lamps ( 4 ) will go out.
•
Insert the bridging plug ( 3 ) into the socket ( 1 )
and secure it with the cap ( 2 ).
The ignition is switched off, unless it is
switched on at an ignition lock.

Danger due to unauthorised use
Always stow the hand-held control in the driver's cab or in the crane cab
before you leave the crane, and lock the doors.
This way you can prevent unauthorised persons starting the engine.
