WARNING:
To prevent possible injury to personnel and/or damage to the equipment, lock out and tag the
electrical service to the equipment.
Clean the Creosote Trap and Ductwork
1. Remove any lint or dirt that has accumulated on the exhaust
blower fan creosote trap (1) and associated ductwork.
2. Check the exhaust ductwork for indications of exhaust air
leakage and/or stressed fittings. Remove any airflow
obstructions. Repair or replace as necessary.
Note: When curing/drying garments that contain materials such as
Flock, Glitter, etc., increase the maintenance frequency.
Lubricate The Conveyor Drive Roller Bearings
Items required:
1 - High Temperature Grease
1 - Standard pump action grease gun
1. Use high temperature grease at the conveyor outfeed. There
is a grease fitting (1) at each end of the roller.
Degrease the Pillow Block Bearings
1. Remove the rear access cover on the Master Heat section,
and remove any overflow grease that has accumulated
around the blower driveshaft pillow block bearings (1).
Check The Main Blower V-Belts And Pulleys
1. Look for signs of wear on V-Belts (2). Adjust V-Belt tension
if necessary. Replace the V-Belt if you see cracking,
splitting, or other signs of wear.
Monthly
Clean the Air Knives
Items required:
1 – Vacuum
1 – 5/32” Hex head wrench
Note: This procedure applies to models with heat chambers 12’ (366
cm) or longer.
1. Use a 5/32” Hex head wrench to remove the top covers of
the Master Heat Chamber sections. Use a vacuum to clean
the air knives (1).
Note: Remove the exhaust hood and air plenums to gain better access
to the air knives.
