6.2.1 Sensor Board
The structure of the sensor board and the linkages of the
temperature sensor (EGT-sensor) and of the speed sensor
(RPM sensor) with the sensor board are shown in the following
diagram.
6.2.2 Engine Controlling
The ECU is responsible for retracting and extending the engine
from and into the fuselage and also is responsible for operating
and monitoring the engine during operation.
With the help of the JDU the pilot can operate the engine and
monitor the relevant engine data.
In order to start, operate, and monitor the engine, it is necessary
to control the applicable modules and that the measured values
of the sensors are evaluated.
