General
Before starting to use the machine you need to read and fully understand the manual!!!
This manual contains important information about the proper way of installing, operating and
maintaining the equipment described in this manual. When using any motorcycle lift there are a
different kind of risks that you may incur, risks in personal injuries or property damage. Everyone
who comes into contact with the installation, maintenance or operation of the motorcycle lift must
be fully familiar with the contents of this manual. To protect yourself against personal injury or
property damage you need to follow the following information and instructions in this manual.
Every Mammuth motorcycle lift is manufactured in accordance with the Machinery Directive
2006/42/EC. Every lift is supplied with a manual including a declaration of conformity. These must be
stored and kept up to date properly.
Because of quality reasons constant improvements are going to be made on the equipment.
Valkenpower bv. (holder “Mammuth”) reserves the right to alter specifications of the equipment
described in this manual.

Safety rules
1.
Only persons who are familiar with the entire contents of this manual and aware of the
dangers when using a garage jack are allowed to use the jack.
2.
Use the motorcycle lift only for the purpose which it was designed for, which is to lift
motorcycles/ATV’s.
3.
Unprofessional use of this lift may cause serious injuries which could result in death.
4.
Only place the lift under the areas of the vehicle as specified by the manufacturer. It is
possible the manufacturer prescribes an adapter, read the vehicle’s manual before lifting.
5.
Prevent limbs from getting under the load. Sudden movement may cause serious injuries.
6.
Check the lift for signs of deformation and damage previous to each use.
7.
Wear personal safety gear such as safety glasses, gloves etc..
8.
Extra caution has to be taken when the lift has lifted the load. Secure the load with ratchet
straps after lifting. NEVER work on a vehicle that has not been properly secured to the lift.
9.
Only use the lift on a clean, level and hard surface.
10.
Keep other persons and especially children at a safe distance when using the jack.
11.
No adaptations are to be made to the jack.
12.
Never change the pump settings, this causes extra danger.
13.
Never exceed the lift’s rated capacity of 680kg.
14.
Only move the load with the lift in its lowest possible position and the vehicle strapped down
to the lift.
15.
Always place the jack straight under the load and on a surface which can withstand the
mechanical forces.
16.
When the jack is damaged, it has to be repaired by a specialized company/person.
17.
Only use original parts to replace defect parts.
18.
Only specialized companies/persons are allowed to make adjustments to the pressure safety.
19.
Make sure the work area is well-lit.
