7.  Only use accessories with the appliance as 

mentioned in this instruction manual.

8.  Maintain the appliance at an ambient 

temperature from 15 °C - 25 °C for correct 
operation. Do not expose the appliance to 
temperatures below 0 °C to avoid freezing.

9.  The appliance is not intended for cooking, 

frying, constant boiling or any non-potable 
liquids.

10. Ensure not to exceed the recommended 

preparation temperature for safe fi lling and 
dispensing of the content. 

11.  The access to the service area is only permitted 

to persons having knowledge and practical 
experience of the appliance, in particular as far 
as safety and hygiene are concerned.

Electrical safety

1.  Ensure the rated voltage shown on the rating 

label corresponds with the voltage of the power 
supply.

2.  Do not operate any appliance with a damaged 

power cord or plug, when the appliance 
malfunctions or has been damaged in any 
manner.

3.  Protect the power cord against damages. 

Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not 
squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord away 
from hot surfaces and ensure that nobody can 
trip over it.

4.  Do not insert fi ngers or foreign objects in any 

opening of the appliance and do not obstruct 
the air vents. 

5.  Protect the appliance against heat. Do not 

place close to heat sources such as stoves or 
heating appliances.

Make sure the scope of delivery is complete and free of any damage.

• 

Clean the appliance and accessories before fi rst use as described within 
this instruction manual.

4. Operation 

First use

• 

On fi rst use, odours and smoke caused by the conditions of 
manufacturing may appear. This is normal and no reason to worry.

• 

Discard the water from the fi rst 4 boiling cycles to remove any residues 
from the manufacturing process.

Filling the appliance

• 

Do not fi ll beyond the maximum marking inside the tank or at the liquid 
level indication.

It is recommended not to operate the appliance if the liquid level is too 
low to be displayed in the liquid level indication.

• 

Do not store liquids in the tank for a longer period of time.

• 

Always close the lid after fi lling and ensure the steam vent pointing to the 
back side of the appliance.

Switching on/off

1.  Press the on/off switch to the position 

On

 to switch on.

2.  Turn the temperature dial to the desired temperature to switch on the 

heating function.

NOTE:

 The heating function is switched on and off automatically, after a 

temperature is selected in order to maintain the set temperature.

Dispensing

1.  Place a suitable cup as close as possible under the tap.
2.  Push down the lever on the tap to dispense the desired amount of liquid.
3.  The lever will return to its initial position on release.

NOTE:

 The fi lled container may become very hot!

5. After 

use 

• 

There will be some water left at the bottom of the tank. Check that both 
the appliance and the remaining water have cooled. Carefully lift the 
appliance and pour out the water. Rinse out the tank with fresh water.

• 

Clean the appliance and accessories after each use.

• 

Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive or other aggressive detergents as 
they might be harmful to the surfaces.

• 

Dry the appliance thoroughly before storing.

• 

Store the appliance in a dry environment at room temperature.

• 

Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

6. Troubleshooting 

Boil-dry protection

The boil-dry protection automatically switches off the appliance if it is 
switched on when there is no or not enough liquid in the tank.
1.  Switch off and unplug.
2.  Allow the appliance to cool.
3.  Discard the liquid if any.
4.  Press the reset button on the bottom of the appliance.
The appliance is ready for use again.

7. Disposal 

Environmental Protection

Discarded electric appliances are recyclable and should not be 
discarded in the domestic waste! Please actively support us in 
conserving resources and protecting the environment by returning 
this appliance to the collection centres.

Dispose of packaging in accordance to applicable legal 
regulations.
