Running operation
Symptom
Cause
Action
The robotic cleaner does not run.
Is the error lamp blinking?
The robotic cleaner does not run during an error.
See page 28.
Is the robotic cleaner in the waiting mode for operation by ON
timer reservation?
When the waiting mode for reserved operation is in effect,
the operations other than turning off the power and location
notification are not possible.
See page 19.
The robotic cleaner starts moving
suddenly even though you perform no
operation.
Is the ON timer reservation enabled?
See pages 19.
The robotic cleaner stops when
running.
Is the robotic cleaner caught in a cord or other object? Is a cloth
or a string (for example, a thin towel) entangled around the
wheels?
Turn off the power of the robotic cleaner and remove objects
that are caught in the robotic cleaner and entangled around the
wheels.
See page 26.
Is the robotic cleaner stopped without climbing over a step?
Turn off the power of the robotic cleaner, and relocate the robotic
cleaner to another place.
See page 10.
Is the OFF timer set up?
See page 19.
Are there any obstacles with a height of 25 cm or more that the
LiDAR sensor can detect around the robotic cleaner?
The LiDAR sensor requires obstacles taller than 25 cm within
the following ranges:
• 11 m radius from the robotic cleaner for mapping and mapping
cleaning mode.
• 18 m radius from the robotic cleaner for free cleaning mode.
Please place some obstacles taller than 25 cm in the area.
The speed changes.
The robotic cleaner can slow down when a sensor detects an
obstacle or determines the running direction.
It is not abnormal.
The robotic cleaner does not go
straight.
Is foreign matter caught in the wheels?
Turn off the power of the robotic cleaner and remove foreign
matter on the wheels.
See page 26.
Are any of the wheels damaged?
Request service from the shop from which you made a purchase
or our sales office.
Are the ultrasonic sensor and the LiDAR sensor dirty?
Care for them.
See page 27.
The robotic cleaner collides with an
obstacle more often than before.
Are the ultrasonic sensor and the LiDAR sensor dirty?
Care for them.
See page 27.
The robotic cleaner fails to avoid a step
and then falls.
Are the cliff sensor dirty?
Care for them.
→ See page 27.
The robotic cleaner sometimes climbs down a step with a height
of 3.0 cm or less.
It is not failure.
See page 10.
The robotic cleaner continues to
perform avoidance behavior even
though there are no obstacles or steps.
Are the cliff sensors or LiDAR sensor dirty?
Care for them.
See page 27.
Cliff sensor gets dirty quickly.
Is the earthing line cut and not making contact with the ground
anymore?
Request service from the shop from which you made a purchase
or our sales office.
The driving sound is louder than usual. Is the dust box filled with dust? Is the filter clogged?
Dispose of the dust and care for the filter.
See pages 21 and 24.
Is dust caught in the main brush and the side brushes?
Care for them. In addition, check for proper installation of the brushes.
See page 25.
The sound of the vacuum fan becomes
louder during operation.
It becomes louder when the robotic cleaner switches the battery
cartridge to use.
This is normal.
• The suction power is weak.
• Dust is not sucked in.
Is the dust box filled with dust?
Is the filter clogged?
Dispose of the dust and care for the filter.
See pages 21 and 24.
Is the vacuum fan turned off?
Check the setting.
See page 18.
A side brush comes off.
Is the side brush installed correctly?
Check for proper installation.
See page 13.
A side brush or main brush does not
rotate, is hard to rotate, or is tangled.
Is foreign matter (such as lint and hair) caught in the side
brushes or the main brush?
Care for them. In addition, check for proper installation of the
main brush and the main brush cover.
See page 25.
The robotic cleaner cannot be used on a rug with a pile length of
more than 7 mm. Even if the pile length is 7 mm or less, the robotic
cleaner may stop operating or the pile may get caught in the side
brushes depending on the pile material or other properties.
See page 10.
The exhausted air smells.
Is wet garbage or smelly garbage sucked in?
Discard the garbage.
See page 21.
Is the filter clogged?
Care for the filter. When you have washed the filter with water,
dry it sufficiently before using it.
See page 24.
