Network connection
Set both DIP switches on control circuit
board "P" (
Chapter 10.7).
Master device:
(only assign the main
device as master)
Slave device(s):
Install the WRG 35-AAD junction boxes.
Connect the control cables to the
ventilation unit and room air control
boards and the AAD junction boxes
(
Chapter 3.8 and 10.3).
Give network addresses to RLS 4-1
controls using the DIP switches at the
control. Don't duplicate address
assignments.
RLS 5 control addresses are programmed
through the Service menu (
Chapter
6.10).
Make the network connection on the
terminal box on the board as shown in the
wiring diagram in the appendix.
11. Commissioning
(only by specialist installer)
Switch the mains fuse on and remove the
warning notice.
Commission the ventilation unit as
described below.
11.1 Switch-on, function test with
RLS 4-1
Switch the ventilation unit(s) on at the room
air control. Press the ▲ and ▼ button as
often as necessary until the required
ventilation level is displayed at the room air
controls.
The ventilation unit switches up or down a
level accordingly (see also labelling on the
room air control).
Check for correct functioning of all
ventilation levels at all ventilation units.
Additional setting parameters
● RESET Filter change interval
● Start-up ventilation level after power failure,
Standard = Ventilation level 1
● Switch-off function:
Standard = activated, the ventilation unit
can be switched off. If the switch-off
function is switched off, the ventilation unit
cannot be switched off any more, it runs
permanently at one of the ventilation levels
to give humidity protection for the building,
for example.
Press and hold the ▲ and ▼ buttons
at the same time for several seconds,
in order to get to the corresponding
setting field.
After a timeout of 4 seconds without
any input, the room air control
switches back to the operating
display. The set value is saved.
