Your plough will be used for a period of only a few weeks
once or twice a year and in the idle period it is likely to
get rusted or corroded. It is necessary to take precaution
in storing it so that your plough gives long service. Of equal
importance at the end of operating period is the care of
unprotected surfaces and provision for suitable waterproof
shelter. Scrape off all dirt, clean the plough and if neces-
sary give it a coat of paint. Rust is sure to form under the
layer of dirt.
Land polished surface viz, bottom or discs, require spe-
cial attention. While still minor bright. Apply a good quan-
tity of rust preventive. When storing the plough with the
bottoms or discs attached, keep them off damp ground.
