Disc Plough
Before the best ploughing can finally be achieved correct
assembly and an average operating position must be at-
tained. The aim must be that the plough follow the trac-
tor with both check links floating. If either link are tight,
undue load will be placed on the plough, tractor and op-
erator.
Adjustments must be made individually and their effect
studied before making the next adjustment. To set the
plough for average conditions, proceed as follows:

Bolt disc bearing bracket to stub beam using holes ac-
cording to undercut required. See Figure 3.
CAUTION :
When maximum undercut is required be sure
that interference does not occur between the front disc
and the tractor drawbar. If Interference does occur, the
tractor drawbar must be removed.
