4.1.2 Configuring the Device Controller

At this time the QwickCards.com Device Controller has been installed on the PC.

There are 2 shortcuts added to the desktop:

•

IS380 Device Controller

•

EC500p Device Controller

Before you can run either Device Controller, you must configure the Client Certificate(s) for each of the devices. You need to have the

“serialized” .pfx certificate file for each device before you can use them. In addition, you need to install your IS380 / EC500p device on

QwickCards.com before you send jobs to them.

Note:  The QC Device Controller must be started from the desktop icons. Because it needs to be run as Administrator, the shortcut needs to be

modified so it starts the QC Device Controller as administrator. Right-click on the desktop icon, and check “Run this program as an administrator” on

the Compatibility tab, then press OK button.
