4-1 QwickCards.com Device Controller

4.1.1 installing the Device Controller

The current IS380 Device Controller has been modified to support both the IS380 and EC500p devices; it has been renamed        

QwickCards.com Device Controller. Before installing the QwickCards.com Device Controller, ensure you have completed the following:

1. 

If you have the IS380 Device Controller installed, uninstall it before running the QwickCards.com Device Controller setup program.

2. 

Request an EC500p Client Certificate from Support. This is the same procedure you followed for the IS380. You have to have a Client 

Certificate .pfx file matching your EC500p.

3. 

If you do not already have an IS380 Client Certificate .pfx file, request an IS380 Client Certificate from MagTek Support Services and have 

it available during the QwickCards.com Device Controller setup.

Locate the QwickCards.com Device Controller setup software and execute it. 

It is located on the CD in:

\Disk1\SetUp.exe
