Note:
Reports will be encrypted using the surgeon profile password. In order to view
the report on the external device, enter the password.
If exported as a .pdf, a .pdf
viewer is required on the device in order to view the file. For details on exporting a .csv
report (tab delimited data), contact product enquiries (page ii).
e. Storage Management
i. Checking storage availability
• From the home screen, press

The system details screen will then be displayed.
Information on available storage (%) can be found under 'Display Unit' (top left), titled
'User Storage Free'.
Low memory:
If the user storage is low, surplus reports must be exported to external
memory for archiving, see page 59. Once exported the reports can be deleted
from the system to increase the available memory (see below).
Note:
Whilst it is expected that the internal memory can store in excess of 100,000
events, it is advised that periodic exporting of patient records be carried out at least
once a year to protect from accidental data loss.
ii. Deleting reports
• From the home screen press
• Scroll up or down the Surgeon
, Procedure
, date
and time
to select
the required surgical report.
• A preview of the procedure information is shown at the bottom of the screen.
Note:
patient information will be hidden until the profile password is entered. To
preview patient information, press on the procedure information box. When prompted,
enter the password and press 'OK'.
• Press
to
permanently
delete the file, a confirmation dialogue box will be
displayed; Press 'YES' to delete the file, or 'NO' to cancel.
• Enter the profile password (if not already entered) and press OK.
Note:
To avoid data loss files must be exported before deleting. Once deleted files
cannot be recovered. Please check the hospital policy for procedures on archiving
and deleting patient data before deleting patient records.
