Output Specifi cations
Output cable
Use a shielded cable as shown to connect to the output connector.
Connect the shielded wire on the interpolator end of the cable to
the case of the output connector.
Make the cable length as short as possible to improve noise
immunity.

Open collector output (MJ110)
• Use an output cable with a thickness of AWG26 or 28 and a
length of 30 m or less.
• Make sure that the power supply voltage is 11 V DC to 31 V DC
at the input terminal to the interpolator.
Voltage-diff erential line drivers output (MJ100)
• Use the DS34C86 or its equivalent for the receiver circuit.
• Make sure that the power supply voltage is in the range 4.5 V
DC to 6 V DC at the input terminal to the interpolator.
