REPLACING BATTERY BOX
TOOLS NEEDED: #3 PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER
Note: It is important to keep the CooLift upright at all times.
1)
Place the CooLift on a level flooring surface.
2) Engage the holding brake.
3) Turn off main power switch.
4) Remove the back access panel (B) from the cart by removing the seven mounting screws (A) using the #3
Phillips head screwdriver (Figure 1).
5) Remove the two mounting screws (A) located at the top of the battery box (C) that mounts to the pump
mounting plate using the #3 Phillips head screwdriver (Figure 2).
6) Unplug the charger output cord plug (F) from the battery box (C).

Grab the black handle (E) located on the top of the battery box (C) firmly and lift while rotating in a counter
clockwise motion and maneuver the box out of the cabinet.

Place the battery box (C) on the floor. Hold the handle (E) firmly with one hand, grasp the red handled loop
connected to the wiring harness (D) with the other hand and pull in an upward motion to disconnect the
battery box (C) from the cart (Figure 3).
9)
Position the new battery box (C) on the floor directly behind the CooLift and plug the wiring harness (D)
securely into the fitting at the top of the box.
10) Lift the battery box (C) with the handle on the top and maneuver it into position within the cabinet. Plug the
charger output cord (F) into the battery box (C).
11) Secure new battery box (C) with two mounting screws (A) and tighten with the #3 Phillips head screwdriver.
12) Place the back access panel (B) back into position and secure using the seven previously removed
mounting screws (A) with the #3 Phillips head screwdriver.
