Deleting using the delete button
Single photos can also be deleted by pressing the delete button.
1. Press button

buttons, select the photo to be
deleted.

confi rm by pressing the

button.
Select “Cancel” and press

if you wish to
keep the photo.
IWhere the option “File no.” is set to “Series” in the menu, the deletion of photos does not
aff ect the numbering of new photos. Numbering is continuous irrespective of existing or
deleted photos even if the memory card is formatted or another memory card is used.
To reset the numbering of photos back to 1, the “File number” must be set to “Reset” and the
card must be formatted (see section 12).
