Charging the battery
At the time of purchase the battery is not fully charged. Fully charge the battery and use
battery for the fi rst time until completely discharged in order to maximise its performance
and service life.
1. Connect the camera to the USB power
adapter using the USB cable.
2. Plug the power adpater into a socket
with an AC voltage as shown on the
rating plate of the USB power adapter.
3. Charging of the battery commences
automatically.
The battery can also be charged from the USB connection of the computer:
1.
Switch
off camera.
2. Using the USB cable, connect camera to computer.
3. Charging of the battery commences automatically.
The status display LED on the back of the camera shows the following charging states:
The camera cannot be used during charging.
Where charging ist started without the battery being inserted or with an unsuitable battery
having been inserted, the LED display is switched off .
