MX6 PPC Reference Guide
The Start Menu
For general use instruction, please refer to commercially available Pocket PC user's
guides or the on-line Help application installed with the MX6 PPC operating system.
The
Start
menu appearance is similar to that of a hand held Palm organizer. The default bootup
screen is

Tap Start to display the Start menu. The Start menu is separated into sections:

Start menu
displaying Quick Start Applications
•
Programs
, which are Application specific e.g. Word, Inbox, etc.
•
Settings
which are split into Personal, System and Connection segments.

Edit Start Menu Item List
Access:
Start | Settings | Personal | Menus
Select the applications to be displayed as Quick Start Applications in the Start Menu.
Create a new Menu by tapping the
New Menu
tab. Check the “Turn on New button menu”
checkbox. Make your selections from the list and tap OK or press Enter.
The new menu options appear when the
New
tab in the Taskbar is tapped.
