STEP 1 - PREPARE WHEELCHAIR BASE

If the wheelchair is equipped with a seat elevator, raise
it to the highest setting to make installation easier; if
the wheelchair is equipped with tilt-only, tilt the seat
back to the farthest setting. Use a flathead screw-
driver to pull the plastic rivets out and remove the rear
cover (Figure 1B). Place the LUCI SmartFrame (A) on
the floor behind the wheelchair (Figure 1C). Remove
the rear battery cover by removing the two thumb
screws on the sides of the base (Figure 1D). Slide the
base cover out and set it aside (Figure 1E).
